Nachamu - Shiva Minyan Leaders

The word nachamu in Hebrew means, we will comfort.  This group is comprised of people who have chosen to be leaders to private minyanim (Shiva services) in people's home during the first seven days of the passing of a loved one.  The volunteers in this group are trained by Rabbis Levy, Delson, and Cantor Rose.  In 2005, the Nachamu group published a Bereavement Guide with general Jewish mourning practices, as well as the customs on TBE.
